Dream trip to Gold Coast - Day 1

one of the insanest thing i've ever done in my life is probably this trip 

absolutely impromptu

had this idea a few days before the trip

bought the flight tickets and reserved accommodation just 2 days before leaving

skipped school and things

just for giving a birthday surprise to our beloved friend Carol

had totally no idea that we would do this far

anyway, such a nice trip

gold coast is no doubt a place of paradise

even though the weather wasnt at its best 

still enough to give us such stunning impression

finally get to relax from assignments and stuff

and sort out all the photos
been busy rushing all of them after the trip

glad that the memory is still fresh

so

-starts with the day 1, carol's birthday-

here is a shot of the moment when we just bought the flight tickets, settled down and took photos lol

that moment when we just told our friend that we were going to Gold~~Coast~~in a few hours

early breakfast time in the airport

the sun was still dark and it was still at like 5am

on our way to the plane, on the transfer bus

how beautiful the blue sky was in the morning when we just arrived

yet it turned into muddy cloudy in the afternoon lol 

we took a bus to the south broadbeach light rail stop and changed to the tram 

and then the tram bought us to our hotel in Surfers Paradise

as we decided to put our bags in the hotel room first and go explore around without burdens

just when we got off from the tram there stands the tallest building in Australia lol

its really like a skyscraper that our camera lens couldn't fit in into this tall thing

so we had to bend our knees trying to get the best angle to let the whole thing in

and sarah even lied on the ground lol  

 

in search of our hotel

took us a while again

and then when we finally figured out the place

it is actually situated right along the boulevard

what a good spot and we were sooo surprised of this

pics of the hotel that we were staying 

stunning and gorgeous

indeed we didn't put high expectation on the accommodation and it really did impress us

its called Watermark Hotel

the room didn't disappoint us as well

the view from the window is probably one of best for all the hotels i've been to

it was so amazing that we had some fun time playing before getting ourselves ready for the day

After the check in of the room and playtime

we felt hungry lol

of course our style

so we headed to a german restaurant that sarah found on internet

ordered the crispy pork knuckle, potato mash and sausages

how cute their mouth watering faces haha

it was so windy that one could probably see it lol

so windy that we almost gave up doing pretty selfies...

then went to the surfers paradise beach

so broad so impressive

the view was breathtaking

words cant describe

it is amazing that astonishing natural environment could be thought provoking

it would be truly a blessing if i could visit there again

pity that the weather wasn't nice and i couldn't take more good pics

well even if the weather was good, 

i still dont think i could manage to capture its beauty and its broadness 

 

the arcade...hadnt been to an arcade like this big lol 

we moved back to south broadbeach again to look for camera shop

strolling and exploring around the big gigantic shopping mall

by gigantic i really mean it lol

double and even triple the size of the westfield in syd

no kidding

then we were back to the beach again

had enough beach, we moved to a little park with seats

waiting for carols friend to pick us up for dinner

then, improvisation again

we decided to go back to the hotel and have a nice shower before dinner

lol

amazing night view out the window

though the room wasnt faced at the beach side

still, go enough

 at the end of the day, after we had dinner at a korean restaurant

we made a little surprise to our girl

went to the pancake on the rocks in the surfers paradise 

it was delicious, just that we all felt full lol

hope it was a memorable birthday for our girl

unforgettable for a lifetime xd
